Any Special Poses? Or Clothing? Make-up? Hair Styles?

i am planning on sending photos to a couple modeling agencys and i have to take some new pictures. Any ideas for poses? Make up? clothing? hair? anything! any advice is helpful! thank you!Any Special Poses? Or Clothing? Make-up? Hair Styles?

try there...look at the pictures they have (please wear more clothes!!!) and then also...I'll try to explain some poses: try like having your back towards the camera but turning your head over your shoulder so you can only see your face. Going outside while it's sunny and posing in the grass could be awesome as well!





For make up:


I would take 2 different approaches. If you are taking pictures outside, go for a more natural look. Some foundation and powder to even out your skin, some blush that is only a little bit different than your natural skin tone, and some brown mascara on the top and bottom lashes...all topped off with some clear shiny lipgloss! For inside pictures, you could do kind of a dramatic look. Try smokey eyes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xkl3YiswJ… This might take some practice, but if you have the time you could go to your local sephora or other make up shop and they could do some sort of dramatic make up for you!





For your hair...I would do a couple of different things. For some pictures you could leave it down and straight, for some more pictures, have a loose curl in your hair...and lastly, after the loose curl pictures, you could pull your hair back only letting a little hair hang in your face...this will show of the natural beauty of your face so your hair isn't hiding it!!!





As for clothes....it depends where you are. Again with the outdoor/indoor pictures...For the outdoor I would wear colors like brown, light yellows, a rosey pink, etc. It should be a plain shirt so it doesn't take the focus off of you. Nothing bright and flashy for outdoors in the sunlight. This also goes along with the simple make up idea. For indoors, if you are going to do dramatic make up, you can also get dressed up in some flashy/fancier clothes like models wear. Sequin dress might be something to consider!





Don't spend TOO much money on it...you can get your make up done for free at a make up counter, go through your closet or a thrift store for clothes, etc.

Fourth: Dont put on too much makeup, you could look orange.

As long as you look good and keep up to date you'll be fine. Do look natural.
