I have the same thin medium length hair. And they said curling them will make it fuller. But I have no guts yet to have my hair curled. I have straight hair all my life. layers would look gorgeous. It makes the hair look thicker. You just need to style it all the time. Curls look great. There is also a product called Thicker Fuller Hair. That also works! Stay away from flat straight styles.

I also have fine thin hair. i personally have found that layers makes my hair look frizzy. I have decided that after having long, med. and short hair, that short to medium length hair is best on someone with thin hair. It gives the illusion of thicker healthier hair. i now have my hair about chin length in a bob and love it. any longer and thin hair starts to look stringy
