Hair styles for thick hair and oval face?

I have a long oval face and puffy thick hair that 'springs' up when it hasn't got enough weight to it - so very high maintenace when it is very short (too high maintenece for me!!)



What hair style would suit me?? I also have a big forehead!!Hair styles for thick hair and oval face?
I think u shud trim it down a little bit. and then use a pony for covering your forehead. but don't cut it like the thick front pony. just cut it in natural way and u'll look good

I would strongly suggest that you do not get short hair!

Although it may be easier for those with straight, thin hair and add dimension for those individuals, for the ones with more thick, wavy , etc. hair, they shouldn't get it because it only encourages hair to 'poof up ' instead of lay nicely .

I would suggest leaving hair long or growing it out to just past your shoulders or longer if you wish?

Get some layers starting at your chin , and if you'd like you could throw in some bangs but I think longer bangs would be best seeing as your hair will stick up with short ones.

Longer hair is best because the weight encourages waves and 'poofiness' to fall down nicely instead of sticking up. However, the first picture was probably thinned out and the bangs were left long as well as the first layer for more manageability.
