well first you need to cut your ends if they are damage and do this every 5 to 6 months this will help your hair grow faster
second stop using heat to your hair that causes breakage so what you can do is after you wash your hair put your hair in 6 braids in any direction then let it dry on its own, take them out and your hair will be more wavy but with volume. you can wear it back or get a bang to go with your waves, a side ponytail which is cute and flirty. By keeping your hair in braids it will help your hair be healty and less damage and a great thing is when you braid your hair in any direction the hair falls in different styles and gives you a different look

well i have long black hair, but i know how to help you. if u want to keep your wavy look, go for some waterfall curls and maybe straighten out some of the edges to look more sophisticated. or you could go with a messy bun and hang down some curly/straight long bangs on the sides. you could also do a pony tail with a curly/straight/wavy end to it.
Just leave it down.
