Maybe highlights or dye. He can't just dye it because he has white eyebrows and it would clash with any color. Highlights is all i can think of..but what color of highlights..if any at all.What are good Red Hair styles? Short red hair?
I'd say to do lighter red highlights. If his eyebrows are really light blonde, then even the blonde highlights would probably look good. I would let it grow just a little, especially if it's wavy or curly then get a nice cut to show them off. Sounds very appealing.
Another idea is to find a picture he likes and take it to his local salon. You would be amazed at how close they can get if you are realistic.

its light red tho and he has quite a few blonde highlights and his hair is sexy ;)
if your mates hair is darker red tho get him some low lights in a medium to dark brown shade :)
