not necessarily . not everyone looks the same with the same hairstyle even if your hair color is similar . your jaw shape, eyes, lips, nose, etc. decipher whether you'd look good with the hair style . Try getting a picture of a few different hair styles that you love, then take them to your hair dresser and ask his/her opinion . Which would look best on you ? They should be able to give you at least reference or tips.
