Well long hair is coming back, and you defiantly shouldn't color or highlight you're hair. Hmmmm..Oh! what about getting layers throughout your hair, or having the front in layers and angled towards you're face?
depends on what your personal 'style'

i would recommend look at different sites from clothing like delias and such they have models with hair styles.

apparantly hair cut into a bob is fashionable but it has to be longer at the front and short hair is going to be fashionable. i read it in a magazine

wide headbands

wispy or thin bangs

Wavy, Side Bangs, Bangs, Layered...Or try dressing up your hair with headbands, Clips...
side bangs..about up to your eye....and get long layers and thinned[if hair is thick]...so you can straighten it but when you want it scrunched or curly it look amazing too ;]
